Javier Palomarez is the President & CEO of the United States Hispanic Business Council (USHBC). In his role, Palomarez has led the USHBC through media appearances, strong partnerships with the country’s largest corporations and the promotion of the organization as a leading advocacy group for American small business and the Hispanic community in general.
Palomarez is a leading voice in the areas of multi-cultural consumerism, marketing, small business, entrepreneurship, and the Hispanic electorate.
His opinions have been sought after by the world’s leading media outlets including CNN, MSNBC, NBC, FOX, International Business Times, Newsmax, Semafor, the BBC, the Wall Street Journal, El Pais, the Associated Press, Reuters, Business Week, USA Today, Dallas Morning News, the L.A. Times and the Boston Globe. He is an acclaimed spokesperson for small business and entrepreneurship, recognized as one of America’s most influential Hispanics for over a decade.
Palomarez has a breadth of knowledge garnered from over 20 years of professional experience and workforce leadership. He has held senior leadership positions in marketing, business development, brand strategy and public relations and is credited with the creation of specialized insurance, telecommunications and financial services products, for leading corporations such as Allstate, Sprint and Bank of America.
The son of Mexican immigrants, Mr. Palomarez was raised in south Texas, as a migrant farm worker. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from The University of Texas-Pan American, as well as an Honorary Doctorate of Commercial Sciences from Westminster College. He has earned a variety of awards and accolades over his professional career, including: Top 100 Hispanics in America, The BBC’s – Ten Hispanics Who Made History, Latino Leader Magazine’s – El Maestro Award, National 4-H’s – Distinguished Alumni Award, the government of Mexico’s – Ohtli Award, (highest honor for a non-Mexican citizen) and Spain’s Fundacion Inspirando Lideres – Most Influential Hispanic in America in 2018. Most recently, he was inducted into the Prestigious 2022 Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry and described as a 'Disruptor' in the business world by Medium Magazine in 2023.
